THE STORY ABOUT MY STORY

                                 

My story began back when I was ten-years-old with paper and a pencil in my hand. 

I wrote for my life; writing was my escape.

A few years later, my mother bought me a word processor and I pecked away for hours almost daily- typing my handwritten stories and creating new ones.

Writing became more than just my escape. It became my hobby, my passion, and my joy!

I relished the times when my family and friends would sit back and listen as I read my stories to them. When I was in the eighth grade, my classmates were engrossed in one of my stories and they were passing it around the classroom while our teacher was in the hallway. She re-entered and figured out that it was my story which was causing such a huge ruckus, so she told us to put it away and she also contacted my parent! Yeah, I was that quiet kid who rarely got into trouble at school except for writing during class or daydreaming.

I dreamed of becoming a famous author when I was a kid. I had lots of dreams. I still do, but there came a time in my life where I stopped dreaming, and I let life and others control me instead of me taking control of my life and environment. I took a long break from writing. During my hiatus, I experienced joy and sorrow, but mostly the latter. It’s cool, because my struggles made me stronger; wiser, and my experiences have given me a plethora of things to share with you!

That’s all I really want. I don’t care about being famous. I just want my stories to reach the right audience and I want my readers to really feel me. I want you to fall in love with my characters, to get lost in my stories, to find hope for your situation, and to tell others about Epiphany Z. Crush’s awesome books.
